The Pen Resource University (PRU) was established by Pen Resource Academy (PRA), a private, coeducational group of schools located in Gombe, Gombe State. The Proprietor of the proposed Pen Resource University is the Pen Resource Academy Nigeria Limited. The Pen Resource Academy Limited was established in 2011.
The goal of the Pen Resource University is to partner with parents/guardians and prospects to inspire students to attain the highest academic and moral standards in their upbringing. The University strives to make students learn to their optimum potential and acquire the necessary knowledge and skills to ensure their proficiency in problem-solving and technology utilization. It also seeks to bring up responsible citizens and lifelong confident learners fully prepared for a variety of specialization options in their Education.
Excellence in learning, Technology, and Leadership is the goal of PRU. PRU graduates will be primed to apply quality and technologically driven problem-solving techniques to analyze and proffer solutions to Africa’s pressing continental problems. PRU graduates will be trained in leadership roles irrespective of their academic specialization and they will receive training in technology and entrepreneurship to enhance their well-roundedness needed to adequately equip them to face the ever-changing challenges of Africa and the world at large.
